Ellis Island Paperwork!

Well my family heirloom topic is on my great great grandpa's Ellis Island trip/paperwork in 1937!!! My great great grandpa Rivera, Nemesio was born around 1927. I don't know the exact date but what I do know is that he was 10 when he went on his trip! He traveled from Humacao, Puerto Rico( pronounced who ma cow)!He rode one of the first ships from Ellis Island! He was very poor at the time due to loss of crops and bad weather issues. He was forced to ride in Steerage and nearly died of seasickness! Did I forget to mention that he had to ride with his two year old cousin(Felix), and his 9 year old sister (Rosa)! He was accompanied by tons of people on the ship! Over 500 to be exact!  His ship was cold and was almost completely out of food, but that didn't stop him from coming to America! My family says that the reason he came was because he wanted to visit his parents! But I think the true reason was to just have a better life especially about the weather back then in puerto rico! I am so delighted to share my story with you today! I really hope you enjoyed my family's history! And  who knows, maybe a member of your family was on the ship too! ( by the way, the name of the ship is Coamo in case you want to look it up!) also I have included some pictures of the ship too! ( at the end) so yea! I really hope you enjoyed it and I'm glad to have these papers/information in our family!
