El Divino Niño Necklace
On my first birthday i was gifted this necklace by my family, I've since then carried it with me my entire life. My whole family has always been very catholic, and I've always wanted to follow in their example. The message on the pendant, "Jesus, no te olvides de mi, divino niño," translates to "Jesus, don't forget me, Divine Child." This pendant has always stuck out to me, as the child is shown with open arms, which shows signs of acceptance and comfort. My family and I always pray to El Divino Niño, as he is a symbol hope through hardship. I'll always pass down the sign of the Divino Niño as my grandparents did to my parents, and my parents did for me.
