El Capirucho is a traditional toy known throughout El Salvador. It consists of a wooden instrument, with a hole in the bottom through which a string is tied to a stick ,which must be inserted in the cylindrical part of the Capirucho. My parents use to play with it when they were younger and still do. My dad knows a lot of tricks and my mom gets mad because my dad is better at it than her. It's really hard in my opinion, it took me 10 years to know how to do it. Its special to me because my parents and I spend time as a family trying to see who can get it in first.
