Have you ever dreamed of a Paris night under the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower? The taste of fresh-baked buttery croissants or fluffy french toast from France? Experiencing it first hand is even better than the movies. Stepping off the plane from the architecture to the people, it was as if I had stepped back into time. Arriving at the Plaza Athénée hotel you could see the big tower everyone spoke so highly about. We began our Parisian journey starting at the Louvre posing by the folly then visited the Palace of Versailles dripped in gold from the gates to the hall of mirrors. We strolled the streets of Paris stopping at all the stores for designer items and macaroons. Stopping at the bridge with the locks of love by the Seine river the Eiffel Tower stood tall above the trees. That night was most special when we visited the tower itself. After getting the perfect photo we walked over to the souvenirs. Little gadgets and trinkets filled the tables but in the corner of my eye stood a big metal toy tower that had lights just like the real thing. Of course, I had to have it. Visiting Paris, France was more than magical and forever a memory I will keep close to heart. My parents shared their anniversary under the stary Paris skies and my siblings and I had the times of our lives. My first time visiting Europe and won’t be my last thanks to this trip. Every time I look at the metal toy tower my mind flashes back to each memory made during my time in Paris.
