Dominoes is a game I started playing at a very young age with my family at my great-grandparent’s house.  It is Puerto Rican themed because that is where they came from, and it is a popular game in Puerto Rico. This game brings back memories of everyone around the table trash talking, joking, smiling, and having a great time. Every time I play Dominoes it reminds me of my great grandparents because my grandpop passed a while back and is the one who taught me all the rules and strategies. When I’m playing, I can see him smiling down at us and it takes me back to a time when things were simpler, and everyone was together. For us Dominoes wasn’t just a game it was something that brought us all together and something we did for hours that felt only like minutes and is something that I want to teach my family and create more memories.
