This set of CDs that my grandma has passed down to me holds great meaning as it’s a symbol of how we bond and just how closely knit we are. Music for us has always been something that we could connect with from when I was four years old and she was taking care of me all the way up to now, seventeen and about to be off to college. I started to collect CDs about four years ago and when I told her this she was more than excited to share these with me. Having these CDs is very interesting in a way because she’s seen my taste in music as I've grown up and these give me an idea of what she listened to when she was younger. Going through each CD was like a new story was being told not just within the song but also about my grandma. On top of that, these are considered her prized possessions so the fact that she has entrusted me with them truly means a lot to me and shows just how strong our relationship is.
