Often some families have a tradition of passing belongings down generations. My family is one of those that do too. When my dad first got married to my mom, she gifted him a golden bracelet. He had this bracelet for about 10 before passing it down to me. This bracelet means a lot to me because it reminds me of the struggles and endeavours he had to face to get my family in the position we are in today. My dad first immigrated to the United States with my mom in 1985, where he hoped to achieve “The American Dream”. My dad only had twenty dollars in his possession at the time so he applied to get a job. His first job was at Hardees, where he saved enough money to buy his first hotel.
