cuy y papas
I moved in summer. I moved to the United States two years ago. The first thing I saw when I moved to New York City was my dad and my mom. I hadn’t see my dad since I was 6 months old. When I saw him I ran and jumped in his arms.
I chose cuy because Cuy is the guinea pig is a tradition in Ecuador. Cuy tastes like a delicious food. The guinea pig is bought when it is small and it grows by feeding herbs and when it grows it has babies guinea pig and when it grows up it kills itself and I know how. To make cuy, first you have to catch the guinea pig and cook. Then, you Serve it with potatoes. Finally, I just eat it and that’s it! People like guinea pig for special occasions or for the end of the year. A mi it reminds me of my grandparents in Ecuador.
