My Grandparents gave up a lot and a big dream for their kids to have a good life. My Grandpa was in the Navy for the Italian Military. He served many years and fought for his country and risked a lot. While overseas he received these gold cups from a family. He carried these cups for the whole time in service and they were with him through a lot. After the war was done he headed home with the cups. When my Grandpa got home he had the cups cleaned up and put in my grandparents house. Throughout the years my Grandpa would tell the whole family about the stories of the cups. They are very special to my family because they bring back great memories of family time and reminds us about all my Grandpa sacrificed.
