Cookie Jar
This cookie jar has been used by my family for generations. It is tradition that every firstborn daughter in the family is given it. It is a cookie jar. While we do not know where it exactly came from, we do know who it came from, my great-great-great-grandmother. Nowadays, no one uses cookie jars, but the tradition of having them passed down in my family is very important. Even though I am not the firstborn, my sister will be inheriting the jar and passing it on to generations beyond. If for reasons she does not have a daughter, it will be passed down to the next generation of a girl.
