My first holy communion is a religious practice of Catholicism. You receive the sacrament of the blood and the body of Jesus Christ. Bread and wine or grape juice are consumed as symbols of Jesus Christ's body and blood, commemorating his death and offering a spiritual connection with God. It is a ceremony in some Christian traditions where a person receives the eucharist for the first time. The reason why we do communion is because Communion is a memorial of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. 

To get communion you must go to church school for 2 years and you go there every Sunday. You go to mass first and then an hour later you get to class and you learn about how Jesus died for us and why and our religion. Then we also learn how to say our prayers. When those two years end, that's when me and my family start planning about the dress, crown, and who's going to be my godparents. For the dress, it needs to be white or ivory dress, especially for girls. The shoes for First Holy Communion, girls traditionally wear white, low-heeled dress shoes. The accessories or stuff are headbands, veils, or other items worn on the head and a jewelry; rosary, prayer book, or a small purse and the candles are Candles. My first communion was in Guardian Angel Catholic Church. I grew up in that church I started going since I was 6 years old, I loved it.  And now I'm taking classes to do my confirmation. I just need one more year to do my confirmation.
