coffee pulper
I am an immigrant from Nicaragua. I immigrated to the United States in September 2019. The object I chose to represent my family’s cultural identity is a coffee pulper. My object is found in Jinotega, Nicaragua. The coffee pulper is used to process the coffee bean. The reason I chose this object is because it makes me nostalgic. I think about my family’s memories of when I was little and I picked the beans off the plant. It reminds me of my traditions and customs because why Nicaraguans like coffee. This object is important to me and to my family because it is very useful since my family is dedicated to planting and harvesting coffee.
