I want to write about my two cats, Coco and Sukar. For about four years, I had wanted a cat. Then on May 29, 2024, the day I went to Six Flags with my school, my mom surprised me with a white cat that she got from a friend. We decided to name her Sukar, which means sugar in Arabic, because she is white like sugar. A week later my sister told me that her friend was selling a cat for $90, so I begged my mom to get it so Sukar could have a friend. I only had about $60, but my sister contributed $15, and then my mom agreed to pay the rest. Since the cat is brown, we named it Coco, as in cacao. Both of my cats were around two months old when we got them, and we have had them ever since. My cats mean a lot to me because I love animals and I get to watch them grow with me, which is a very special and memorable thing. I hope that my cats live just as long as I do and get to spend time with my future children.
