When dreams come true I chose these clothes because I was a baseball player all my life and, like every child who plays baseball you have only a dream to be a professional baseball player. But the dreams are nothing if you don’t work hard for them. All my life I waited for a chance to play and be able to help my family with the situation in Venezuela. At some point in the time I was preparing myself and training for this, I received the opportunity to come here (U.S.A) and play the Bancroft Bandits in Iowa, but then I had another problem: the money. How could I come without money? It was very frustrating for me because the only thing that was pulling me apart from my dream was something as common as “money”. I never gave up and with some help I was able to buy my airplane tickets to the U.S.A. I got here in summer and I will always remember it for the rest of my life how special it was . I remember how strange I felt but, at the same time, so happy. When I went to the baseball field and played there for the first time, it was the best moment of my life and I thought of a phrase that a very special coach always said: “WORK HARD TO MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE”.
