Why i say christmas tree its because my family never really grew up with money which made Christmas very stressful for my parents and regardless of all that my parents still tried their hardest to give us what we wanted but a long time ago about 6 years ago  my dad fell into a deep hole with drugs and it was hard for my family during that time because it was Christmas and me and my brother were very young at that time and my mom sadly had to break it to us that Santa isn't real but i was young back then hearing that made me question a lot of things and i became really depressed which didn't help by the fact the since my dad was in that hole we didn't have money to pay the rent so we got evicted we stayed with my grandma for a while but the thing is this was my grandma from my moms side of the family and since she knew what was going on she didn't want him in there so he had to stay in the car in the winter and we barley got to see him and when we did it was almost even more said because of certain reasons but you might be asking if all this happened why is this tree so important to you well it is because my dad got better and he got out of that hole got us a house and he showed me how to overcome things that seem impossible and now every Christmas when everyone is asleep i go to our tree and just stand there and see it because ever since that Christmas i have thankfully never had to deal with what i had to go through that year thanks to my dad for getting us out of that hole
