Christingle
This is a Christingle from the Children's' Christmas Eve service at St Martins Church, Bowness-on-Windermere in the Lake District in England.
Every year my family goes to England to spend Christmas with my English grandparents. Going back to England reminds me that I am English and that my parents are originally English or Scottish. When I was young, it was fun to go to the Christingle service and make a Christingle, light the candle and sing Away in a Manger. Now I help my younger cousins with theirs. We all go as a family including Grandfer who is 86. After the service we can eat the Christingles.
