Every time I drive down to my dads side of the family in morris minnesota i cant wait to have my grandma's cookie dough truffles. They are at every family gathering and everyone loves the taste of the sweet cookie dough and rich chocolate that melts in your mouth, and the saltiness of the walnuts placed perfectly on top, and the sea salt sprinkled on them. Whenever I eat them they remind me of Christmas and how my family would come together to exchange gifts and smiles, and how everyone would eat around the table together. They remind me of my childhood and how my grandma would make every grandkid a blanket. The truffles remind me of my grandma and family. Some day I would like to also make truffles like my grandma.
