My object is a Chinese coin. It has a flower on it and it’s a one dollar coin. It is made out of metal. It comes from Fujian in China. It belongs to my mom and my mom told me about it too. It is used to buy things and it is mostly used on shopping days. It is important because at that time she could only bring little stuff with her and she brought this. That’s when my sister was almost born and she gave the coin to her when she was born. My second object is a flowering plant. It is important because it was from my dad. My dad gave it to my mom because he lives far away and this plant keeps my family together. The flower pot is made of steel and glass. My mom told me when the leaves are long flowers will grow on it. My mom told me when the flowers grow, my dad will come back and celebrate.
