Chess is important to me because it distracts me from the world by focusing my attention on the moves I make. Because if you make one wrong move, your king falls, or your other valuable piece falls.Just like in real life, one wrong move and you fall. Another reason it's important to me is that it's the only thing that some people don't know how to play. Additionally, if you win, it means you're better than whoever you're challenging, even though chess is well-known; not many people play it.
