My family artifact is a small coin purse that was passed down from my great great grandmother to my great grandmother and then to my mom. As far as I know, the coin purse came from a line of cheap, no name brand coin purse makers that made chainmail coin purses. We believe that it was made in the1890s. Although it may not be valuable, it is one of the only things that is in good condition from when my great great grandmother what alive, and that makes it special.
