This is my great great grandfather, Guiseppe Vasta’s certificate of naturalization. He came from Villalba, Italy in the late 1800’s and was naturalized in the early 1900’s. He came with his wife, and children, including my great grandfather Salvatore Palermo. This is a copy because the original copy is kept very safely at my grandparents house. When I was talking to my grandfather he said, “This is the proof that you are legal.” This is very important to me and my family because if is a huge part of our history.
