it was about 9 years ago, i was out on a walk with one of my cousins, and we were traversing the woods, when he mentioned that something was in a pile of rocks, it was covered by a lot of dirt so we were very suspicious about what it was because we could barely make it out except for seeing something pointy sticking out, so we grabbed a pile of leaves to give our hands some protection and pulled out a very large telescope, we decided to wipe it off and take it home with us, then we cleaned up the telescope and once it became dark outside, we hooked it up and pointed it at the sky to see if i still worked and after a couple hours of it calibrating, it showed very clear pictures of the moon, the stars and a bunch of other things we pointed it at. I loved the telescope a lot because it showed very clear pictures of stuff i was always interested in and i used it everyday pointing it at every object in space that I wanted to see. It made me more curious every time I saw it because I wanted to know everything about space. I took many classes when I was younger about mathematics and physics. My family and I would always go to explore different parts of the earth where there was no light pollution so we could fully see the stars and galaxy. It made me get into astronomy and astrophysics and helped guide me to what I plan to have as a future career for my studies.
