My object is cascarones. It's from Mexico. My family is not from Mexico but my great grandparents lived near the border so they'd bring back the stuff they learned there like cascarones. We smash them on each other’s heads. Cascarones are empty egg shells that we stuff with confetti and dye. We empty them by making a hole in them and pouring out the raw egg. My family says getting cascarones smashed on your head is a sign of love.     I chose cascarones because my mom and dad and little brother all do cascarones. It's something fun we look forward to on easter. We leave them in a bowl and when morning comes SMASH! Itś connects to my great grandparents because they learned about it and showed it to my family. My mom migrated to New york and showed me and my little brother.  Even though my dad didn't grow up doing cascarones he does it with us.     A question I have for my great grandparents is when did my great grandparents learn about it? In conclusion, cascarones are awesome.
