The objects that are listed in the box are important objects mostly to me and my family. They represent us and show a little of who we are and what we are into. One of the objects listed is the elephant statue. The reason why is because of my father. My father once told us about how they bring good luck and how he used to worship them. Ever since that, we helped him express this by buying lots of elephant statues over time and that was one of the reasons why this object means so much to me and my family.
Another object that is listed is Pupusas. What it is is a type of food that comes from my mom’s side. All of our family eats it and we enjoy them lots. This object doesn’t only represent my family but it can also represent the Hispanic culture. The pupusa was made in El Salvador where my mother was born so it also represents that too. This object is basically a symbol of lots of things and becomes a symbol of my family and that's why it is so important.
