My Passport is important to me because it gives me a sense of identity while I navigate who I am and where my place in the world is. After moving to Ohio at the age of eleven and moving back to Quebec for University at eighteen, I feel a lack of identity, where I feel like I do not necessarily belong here anymore, but saying that I am from the United States feels like I am lying. My passport helps me stay connected to what is important to me, which is my family, and it helps me travel to see my friends in America.
