My object is a Canadian money. Canada is located just above the United States of America.  It sits on top of America just like a hat. I chose this object because my mom is from Nova Scotia. Also, my mom traced our family history back to the colonial times. Looking at this connection, I wonder what brought my mom’s family to Nova Scotia in the first place.If I were to ask my 9th generation grandfather, (Moses Levy) I would ask him, “How did you get so rich?” I would ask this because he was one of the 5 Jewish people that funded the completion of a spire on Trinity Church. My family and I visit Canada each year usually in the middle of August. If I were to say which one I feel most Canadian or Dominican it would say I would say I feel more Canadian than Dominican. My mom has shared a lot about my Canadian culture with my brother and I since we were little.
