Cabin
My cabin is very important to me and I'll tell you why. It all started with my grandpa and grandma when they bought it in the 1980s. Since then my grandpa has died and my grandma isn't well enough to keep it right so my mom and her siblings own it together now. Ever since I was little I've been going to my family cabin every summer. One of the traditions my family has at the cabin is putting and taking the dock out. The dock is all wood and it's very old. So it's very heavy. Also the times that we put it in and take it out it's very cold in the water because it's right before the winter or right after the winter. I always remember when I was little I would always watch my older cousins and my aunts and uncles help take it out and put it in because I was too little to do it. But now that I'm older I help with it and it's very chilly. That's only one of the great memories I have of my cabin. It just makes me happy everytime im there and I never have a bad time. I also love to fish and swim on the lake. It's a small lake but it's filled with fish and I like it that way so there's not as many other people there to catch them. Another reason I love my cabin is that there's almost always a lot of family there so that makes it even more special. That's why my cabin is important to me.
