Bunny Fufu
Bunny Fufu has been with me for as long as I can remember. He was a gift to me when I was 2 from my Mum and Dad. He got his name because my favorite story was the Little Bunny Fufu, and when I saw a bunny I made the toddler connection in my brain that this must be Fufu. He was small and fluffy and from the beginning I carried him everywhere, Including when my family moved to Massachusetts. I was too little to understand what moving really was; I was just excited to be in the car. Now Fufu is old and dwindled from his early days. He looks tired from all those years of playing pretend. He is officially retired, but he still remains important to me as he is the memento of my childhood that I still hold onto as a reminder. Sometimes I wish I could ask him if he is bored, now that I no longer make worlds for us to live in and he just sits on a shelf. I would ask him if I turned out alright because if anyone would know it would be him. Because he watched the little girl from Texas, who just wanted to eat candy and play games on that road trip to Massachusetts, grow up into someone braver than she was.
