This was my Great-Great Uncle's Soprano Saxophone from around 1909. The Soprano Saxophone itself was made in Elkhart, Indiana, at the Buescher Saxophone Plant. It is about 111 years old, has been in our family for over 100 years, and still sounds great! Pitched in Bb (B flat), it plays from a high F#6 (F sharp) to a low Bb3 (B flat). the Saxophone represents our family's musicality, because it has been in our family for over 100 years, and more than two generations of people have used it. There are also many other instruments and percussive toys, but that's beside the point. My Great-Great Uncle's Saxophone is really unique since you can't get a Buescher Saxophone anymore and it still plays. It's really amazing to see what a small instrument represents our family's musicality
