I chose a Buddha necklace as my artifact. It is made of a stone called jade. It can be costly. I got it when I was one year old. I got it when my mom was pregnant for me and she wore the Buddha necklace everyday. People from her culture said that if your baby is inside your stomach and you wear the Buddha necklace daily, your baby would be protected. So, when I was born my mom thought that I would still be protected when she passed the Buddha necklace on to me. I didn’t know until now, how special it is.
