The gift that I received before I came to the United States was by the person that helped me to grow, the person that was like my second mother, the one that always took care of me,  my grandmother, she gave me a bracelet. The purpose of this gift is to never forget where I am from and never forget her, and she told me to never forget where I am from and always be humble and remember the people that are around me and love me. So, as I grow here in the United States and I save the bracelet I never take it off. Each year I go to Colombia but I never give that bracelet the importance that it has. Furthermore, the Covid pandemic started and I can't go to Colombia this year, and in 2021 I will start appreciating that bracelet because I was about to receive a notice that was going to change that year for me, my grandmother died and I can't go to Colombia to be with her. At least,  but I remember the words that she told me when she gave me the bracelet, the bracelet that I am going to save for my entire life.
