This gold bracelet is important to me because it was given to me by my aunt, whose name is also Ingrid. It is not just any typical bracelet with a name written on it, because it serves as a family love connection my aunt has to me. I was named after her because my mom and her are close sisters. She was there for me when I needed motivation, simple life speeches and when my mom and I needed help after arriving in the US. Upon my arrival to the US in 2006 she gave me this bracelet as a means of always remembering she was there for me no matter what. I don't wear the bracelet because I am scared I might lose it.
