Bracelet
I’m from Guatemala and the object most represents me is my bracelet that I got when I finally visited the country. The bracelet is made of metal black agate beads entwined with a silver metal square to it. When I visited Guatemala something I was really moved by was when I saw how many people didn't have much money for anything and that really hurt me. My great grandfather who unfortunately left my life gave me the bracelet before he died at age 107. A special occasion/ celebration that connects me to this object is when he gave it to me the day he died and that day was June 12th which was my 11th birthday. This object connects to me because it identifies my Guatemalan family roots and nationality!
