Gold bracelet

My parents married in 1991 back in Guyana, which is located in South America. My father had already moved to America around 1985, however he would return to Guyana periodically for family. Though they married in 1991, my mother stayed in Guyana while my father would travel between America and Guyana. In 1994, my mother finally moved back to the United States with my father and gifted her a bayra which is typically a gold bracelet with two hammered ends. In Guyana, this bracelet is popular and is often gifted to one another. However, the bracelet holds more than just material value: it represents her life in Guyana and for her future in America.
