Many people have many important objects that hold memories. For me, it was a book of photos which contains photographs of my parents’ history. Going through the book as a kid, I always asked my grandparents questions about the photos and they’d reply enthusiastically, making the book even more meaningful to me.
The book contains photographs of my mom’s family on one half, and my dad’s family on the other half. The book also includes my parents’ baby photos, special events, my grandparents, and many other people that were close with my family. This book is important to me because it is a part of my identity and makes me who I am. It is also important to all of my family members because it connects to our roots and where we all come from. I try to teach my little sister about my family’s history, but of course, she would never listen to me.
