This object is important to mom because it was brought from Algeria, Africa by my grandfather in 1996. My mom told me that she remembers playing with it when she was a kid. When she was my age every summer she had to go to Algeria and it was extremely hot, so she didn't go outside that much because it was hot. So she played with the instrument. She also remembers when she was playing with her brother, sister, and cousin during summer in Algeria. That makes her feel happy because she can remember a ton of good memories. Mom also remembers a fruit that is delicious but you can only find a good type of this fruit in Algeria.
