Bloodletting medical device

This bloodletting device is made of brass with four tools that flip out from a holder. My grandfather, who was a doctor, found it at a shop in the middle of Missouri where my dad grew up. Due to the shop's tendency to sell British objects, both he and my father believe it is from England. My father was originally from England but came to the states when he was 4 with his older and younger brothers and his parents. They chose to leave England for my grandfather's work as a professor. They came over on a boat, although it was the '60s and not much travel was still done by boat. They chose this method of travel so that they could take all their belongings with them and keep everything in one place. When my grandfather saw the blood-letter and thought it was from England he got it to remind him of home. The tool, while outdated, reminds me of my grandfather, his past in the medical world, and our family history in England.
