My family immigrated to America a long time ago, when the land was full of bison (a lot larger than this!). As the years passed, they became more spread out, but eventually began to congregate around Boston. My parents, both from the Boston area, then chose to travel to California to start their new lives together. A part of their time in California has been frequent trips to Napa, and this cork comes from one of those trips, so represents two stages of movement my family went through to get where they are today.
