The thing in the picture is a bierock, and it was passed down from my great grandmother all the way down to me. It was originally from Germany, and is composed of ground beef, onions, and cabbage all inside of dough. It is important to me because it is the first meal that I learned to make and they are more fun to make when there is someone there to make them with you. They are not very complicated and you can learn fast, but it is time consuming.
