One day my grandma gave me money and i knew exactly what i was going to spend it on, so when i got home i told my mom to go on amazon and buy me a bible it was only 20 dollars that my grandma gave me gave me but it was enough to buy me a bible and that was the most important thing to me. And God is the reason that I am where I am today. 
Ever since I bought my bible and it came in the mail I've felt more calm and relaxed. I haven't had to worry about tomorrow because the bible says in Matthew 6:34 says “ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will be about itself.Each day had enough trouble on its own”. This verse teaches us not to worry about the future and think about the present. The bible is just more than just a book it has teachings and lessons that are very important in life. Again, without God I would not be anywhere, God is a special figure in my life. He's more than just my father, he is my role model and I live for him. He grants forgiveness if you pray for and that's the awesome thing about him that, even though you could’ve treated people bad your whole life he will still give you mercy if you pray and give your life to him.
This is why my bible is special to me, because it's not just a book with pages, it's a powerful and teaching book with lots of lessons and important things.
