Bible
I always wondered a lot of things as a child and still up until now how the afterlife is going to be like. What is the correct way to live life faithfully? How am I gonna make it to heaven when I die? Little me at the age of 9 had questions like this running through my head. I never had the answer to it. I kept on questioning on how to live but never fully figured it out up until now. Yes, I did go to church. A place where I felt welcomed and safe. That still did not answer anything I had in my head. It was that until I opened my white and gold KJV Bible. For those who don’t know what KJV stands for, it means “KING JAMES VERSION” The KJV bible was gifted to me from my brother. A role model in my eyes. A person who helped me figure out how things work around this confusing world we live in. I use my bible in a lot of places, like my bed, bible study, and on roadtrips. Now the bible does come in a few different versions like ESV (English Standard Version), NLT (New Living Translation), and more. I myself choose to read the KJV bible because it is still written in the language they used to speak back when Jesus was alive which was the BC. Reading this bible makes me feel more powerful and greater about myself because I learn from its past and how I can live without having to worry about the afterlife. I read Scriptures, break them down, analyze them, and figure out the true meaning behind what is said in each verse and chapter.
