Bible
“I grew up in a Christian family and used to go to church with my mother every Sunday. As I got older, I stopped going to church but always remained faithful to God. When I moved to the US all by myself, my mother put in one of my suitcases the bible I had when I was teenager. She told me that whenever I felt alone and wanted to give up, I should remember that God is always with me and He has a purpose for my life. So, whenever I’m feeling hopeless I remember her words and open this bible to read some verses. I always feel at peace after reading it. This bible brings me closer to God and my mother. I keep it on my nightstand.”
