My object is necklace with a cross which is what people in my religion use. The object is made out of gold with a cross on the center. The necklace is used to wear and it can also be blessed. I’m not pretty sure where it came from, but I think it has to come from the church or someplace. The person who gave me the necklace was my godfather for my baptism and first communion which he passed away in the year of 2013 and that was the gift he gave me before he passed away. I connect this to the occasion to my baptism and first communion which where he gave the gift. This object is important to me because he was a great young man and now since he passed away the gift that he gave is like a memory of him. This connects to my identity because it shows that I’m a child of God and that I believe in him.
