Bible
My Bible is one of the most important objects in my life, as it reminds me that I must always have faith. I received it from my mother when I was about nine years old, and my aunt taught me that we must trust in God in everything we do. When I immigrated from Ecuador to the United States at the age of 13 in 2023, I had my Bible sent to me once I arrived because it is so important to me. It provides me with strength and hope whenever I feel afraid or when things in my life do not seem to be going well. I believe that if God wanted me to be here in the United States, He would help and guide me; and if not, then He had prepared a different purpose for me back in my home country of Ecuador. My Bible reminds me that God guides us, that He has a purpose for every person, and that we must never lose faith, not even during difficult times. In the future, this Bible may be passed on to a sibling, allowing me to teach them the values our family has instilled in us, and to show them how important it is to keep God present in our lives.
