My family artifact is a packing jar. The jar is for packing beef. It’s a meat extract jar. My grandparents yard was built over a landfill that is over 100 years old. My grandfather name is Mike, and he was building a garage when he found this jar. The jar was  under 5 feet of dirt. After my grandfather found it, He gave it to my dad then my dad gave it to me. Now in our family, we are gonna pass it on. It’s one of our objects that we keep because it will remind us about the history of our grandparents house.
