This is a book that’s full of memories from my first years on this earth. It has stories that my mom wrote to me about the things I did and experienced when I was a baby. Reading this book brings me back to simpler times and reminds me of what my life was like in Oregon before I moved away. It says when I said my first words, when I first started walking, what my first birthdays were like, and who my first friends were. If I didn’t have this book I wouldn’t know a lot about my first years, about the joy I brought to my family, and the advice that my mom wrote to me in the book. This book allows me to remember what my family was like before my younger siblings were born; when it was just me and my sister. It allows me to remember my first house and the experiences I had there. Because of this book I won’t lose the happy memories I otherwise wouldn’t remember.
