This Aztec calendar has been in our family since my great grandfather came to America. This was one of the few possessions he had when coming to America. Now he had this Aztec calendar since he was in high school as a gift from his father. Everyone in my family knows how important this object is to him and our family so over the years we have kept it in good condition because of what it means to us. This Aztec calendar means a lot to our family and gives us the strength to keep pushing towards our goals. Whenever I look at this Aztec calendar it reminds me of the sacrifices my great grandfather had to make to come to America. How he had to leave everything behind in Mexico and come and start a new life for him and his family. This is why this Aztec calendar is very important and significant to our family.
