Arrowhead
The object I chose is an arrowhead that my stepdad and I found together when I was younger. It is important to me because it connects to both my personal memories and history. The arrowhead is black, very sharp and has the typical arrowhead shape. Its surface is rough and bumpy, almost like a popcorn ceiling, and it is made of rock. Long ago Native Americans would have used it for hunting or defense, but today it is mostly something to look at and appreciate. The arrowhead came from Oklahoma and us finding it together deepened my interest in collecting them and learning more about them. I would just look for them and collect them, but stopped when I moved to North Dakota.
