A video that I watched was by Misa Sugiura and her object was a gold signet ring.
I had worn this áo dài on Lunar New Year in 2024. I had bought it in Vietnam the summer before. When I wore it on Lunar New Year, I felt really well. The shocking factor was that I didn't get mad or upset at all. Usually, I'd at least get annoyed once or twice in a day. I thought the bright colors helped me stay lively, but I didn't really care that much. I genuinely thought I was happy because I had gotten money from my family members. My parents also noticed my happy mood. The whole reason why I truly was happy wasn't only because I had gotten money from my relatives, it was the confidence and pride that had washed through me when I wore my culture's dress in public. The áo dài was important to my culture and me, so when I had walked in public wearing the áo dài, I showed people my beautiful culture. Now, my áo dài rests in my closet, so whenever I open my closet, I get the pleasure to see something that is my own and from my culture.
