This gourd is an important amulet for my family. My mother told me it could exorcise evil spirits and prevent disease from entering the home. If we hang a gourd in the living room, all our family members will remain healthy, especially the children. Indeed, while my siblings and I were growing up, we were seldom sick. My mother gave me this gourd. Wherever I move, I always keep it. Right now, it hangs on the wall in my living room.
